New sponsor for the Terry Fund Featured

The Terry Fund would like to annouce one of our new sponsors. A service called HireAFirstResponder.com recently launched to help connect First Responders (including Firefighters, Police and Rescue) with local residents that live in their neighborhoods who are looking for services. You, as First Responders, put yourselves in harm’s way each day in order to save life and property, and prevent other dangers. And many of you own or work for service companies within your area, including plumbers, electricians, carpenters and other laborers, as well as professional service providers such as accountants, lawyers, web designers and many other services. When residents need work, Hire A First Responder encourages them to honor your service to community by contacting HireAFirstResponder.com, where we will pair you with requesters seeking trusted and quality services. There is no cost to the requester, and only a small cost to you for using this service.  Only one First Responder will be referred for each job, so you have a better chance of getting the job. Residents benefit from the comfort of knowing that you are a dedicated and trustworthy neighbor who is always there for them, and who would appreciate their business. If you are a First Responder and would like to be added to the service, please submit an application to qualify at the Hire a First Responder website. If you have questions, call 866-7FIRECOP.
