On a more somber note at 2:00pm, also on June 2, the Terry Farrell Fund will be presenting a section of World Trade Center steel to the Alabama Joint Fire Council for installation on the Alabama Fire College grounds as a permanent memorial to Firefighter Terry Farrell and the other 342 firefighters who perished on 9/11.

Fire companies, honor guards, bagpipers, and guest speakers from around the state will be in attendance for this special occasion which is sure to be both a moving and uplifting event.   During the ceremony, Central Church of Christ will provide child care at the Fire College for children ages infant to seven-years-old.
