Delaware Chapter Helps Students With Public Service Interest

The Delaware Chapter recently assisted a new Delaware Charter School get started in a new program they introduced to students.  The Delaware Academy of Public Safety and Security in New Castle Delaware started a new program that offers classes in emergency preparedness for future Police, Fire, and EMS.  The Delaware Chapter was happy to give the kids surplus gear, hose, and various other fire service related items that they will use to further their education.  Another great relationship was formed with the Terry Farrell Firefighter Fund of Delaware and the future of our fire service.

Delaware Chapter

Our Fund was formed after the events of September 11, 2001. Those of us who searched and cried for our missing brothers were comforted by the thousands of firefighters and departments who sent crews, tools and support to get us through those dark days.
