Terry Fund Junior Firefighter Training Featured

On Saturday July 23rd, and August 13th, the Terry Fund sponsored 2 full day training sessions for Nassau and Suffolk Jr. Firefighters. The July training was held at the Morrelley Center for Homeland Security, and the August training was held at Bay Shore Fire Department. On two of the hottest days of the summer, 12 instructors, with more than 100 years combined experience, were taught by FDNY members donated their time to teach the future members of the fire service. Thank you Eddie Tucker, Pete Maslinski, Tony Srour, Brendan Cawley, Mike Dugan, Vinny Brinisi, Todd Smith, Mike Perrone, Richie Schmidt, John Loeber, Chris Solimine, and Ray Griffin . Thank you to Frank Ceglio of the Bethpage Fire Department who also donated his time to the kids, and for helping out with the logistics. A special thank you to Chief John Ippolito Jr. for opening the doors of the Bay Shore FD and for allowing the Fund to conduct training there.
